The Labour Party in Middlesbrough has a reputation of campaigning and delivering for ordinary people stretching back 100 years.
With its roots in the trade union movement, local suffragettes, and community activists, Middlesbrough Labour today represents our town through its councillors, Police and Crime Commissioner, our Elected Mayor, two MPs, and activists working in our communities, from North Ormesby to Nunthorpe. Our membership is growing and we are proud of our record of campaigning and listening to residents.
Our values are simple; we want a Middlesbrough which is more equal, a Middlesbrough which provides jobs and fulfils its role as the city centre of a city region, and communities which are safe and pleasant. Our Mayor, Dave Budd, ran on a promise to fight for a Fairer, Safer, and Stronger Middlesbrough, and that is what we are delivering.
